The Art of Understanding Freedom – Part 3
In the previous part I have tried to bring out the area where man is actually lower than animals. If the suppression of the female species is like an animal, curtailing the freedom of the suppressed is worse while branding the suppressed takes the cake. As a human, man should have learnt to respect all humans especially women. This learning should start at home and when he is young. The adage, catch them young, is so simple, plain and straight.
But most children do not live under the shadow of the mother until they are strong like animals do. If we all did that we would respect each other fully. The child of today, think they can understand life all by themselves. They assume that freedom is available to them when they are not yet strong on their own. In the animal world the kids wait for the mother to return to them with whatever it is she has.
There are no complaints and questions asked. The human world is different due to expression and hence some are lured away from the safe shelter of the mother only to cling to peers who take away their freedom.
These humans grow up, like their peers because they have not known anything else. They are unfit to think in any other way and do to others what their peers did to them. It must be understood that every human needs to be respected which is why youngsters search for a role model to spend time with. If they had chosen their mothers and stuck to her no matter how she is, they would learn the harsh lessons of life just by watching her. The inner voice would have been heard clearly and they need not experience hardships to learn them. This is the reason why God gave us the mother. It is not blind following that is needed it is, understanding by the heart that is the need of the hour.
No one needs to run away from homes to join some group or to live with some one, unless the mother puts one in some else”s care or when a husband chucks his wife out or when the law asks one to pay for illegal acts.
All theses things happen and have to be seen as exceptions to the rule. What has to be understood is that as long as you are young one should not take decisions without the mothers consent. Even grown ups take the guidance of others for major issues. We must see that the whole world is contained in a family. This equal vision does not exist today. What one finds in the outer world, one will find at home too.
We only need an open mind to see it. Does love not exist in both places? Does every other emotion too not exist in both places? Then what is there outside that is not inside the home? Now one can earn through the internet from home too. It is the discrimination in man that makes him think the grass is greener on the other side. His uncontrolled curiosity makes him cook up excuses so that he can satiate his desires anywhere he wants. Everyone has to realize that wherever they are they have to be at peace with themselves and their children. Humans are finite and so definitely limited. They should accept their own limitations and others to live together in peace. It is always best to stay within your limits even if others have crossed theirs and you are on a road not travelled by others.
